An unfair fight from the start, the Corolla was innocently waiting at a stop sign for a school bus to go by. Just before I was about to let off the brake, the big Ford Escape flies down the offramp and plows me into the road.

A few more feet and I would have had the school bus's license plate imprinted on my forehead. Sure it may look like a victory for the SUV, but you're only seeing half the story. Although hard to believe, the Corolla retaliated.

Not only did the Corolla create a dent in the SUV's lisence plate large enough to be seen by anyone within 10 feet, but it also gouged a massive stratch into the bumper the size of a dollar (the coin, not the bill).

I wasn't allowed to leave the scene of the accident until I could find something to tie down the trunk. Luckily I had my soccer bag with me and had some Ace bandages at my disposal. The trooper was impressed with my MacGyveresque cleverness.

UPDATE: Taken from the Geico.com Claim Estimate Summary, this shot shows the stylish rope that replaced the ace bandage. Hardly noticeable right?
