Schuylkill River Flooding

Just to give you and idea of the rise in the Schuylkill over the past few days. The river was expected to peak sometime later the night the pictures were taken.
*I apologize for the poor quality of the pictures. I have not figured out the best settings on my new camera yet.

Usually the water that spills over the dam is about 6 inches high, it appeared to be well over a foot

You can barely see it but a bunch of Canadian Geese were lined up against the water. Perhaps the area they normally sleep was gone.
